The fall edition of the Bloomberg Green Summit will be anchored out of Waddesdon Manor in the UK, convening executives and thought leaders in person, while broadcasting to a global virtual audience. Focused on local solutions for a global impact, this one day event will address the critical climate challenges we face in advance of the United Nations Climate Change Conference in November.
Countries, companies and investors have all been setting aggressive net zero commitments in advance of COP26 in an effort to accomplish the global goal of net zero by 2050. But what is needed to actually achieve carbon neutrality, and how do we work collectively to get there? We’ll convene a highly curated audience for deeper dialogues on the challenges and opportunities of getting to net zero. Topics will include advancing the transition to green transportation, cutting carbon and methane emissions, addressing deforestation, and accelerating the adoption of renewable energy.
